Climate Check Inc.

ClimateCheck

Climate Check (ClimateCheck) serves real-estate stakeholders with a hazard-rating database covering residential and commercial buildings across the United States and Canada. Drawing on public climate and hazard datasets, it scores property-level exposure to perils such as heat, storm, flood, drought and wildfire and presents simple, comparable ratings for buyers, lenders and owners; a public methodology page outlines the data sources and hazard-to-rating logic. A borderline, real-estate-focused data provider for North America, distinctive for accessible property-level screening scores rather than the financial-loss or scenario modelling of institutional peers.

Beta

Public transparency, not model quality iThe Transparency Score (0–3) estimates public methodological transparency: the degree to which the vendor's analytical approach to modeling climate and nature risk can be assessed from publicly available sources. It is explicitly not a measure of vendor quality or accuracy.

Methodology-relevant: vendor websites or external resources explain methodological details.

Methodology-relevant: a public methodology page gives, per hazard, the data sources and models (LOCA/MACA-downscaled CMIP5, NOAA SLOSH, CADDIES surface-flood, FEMA NFHL) at up to 10 m resolution with projections to 2050; parameters proprietary.
