CoreLogic, Inc. (d/b/a Cotality)

Climate Risk Analytics, Risk Quantification Engine

Cotality — the 2025 rebrand of CoreLogic — provides detailed physical climate risk at property and structure level through its Climate Risk Analytics and Risk Quantification Engine (RQE), built on extensive US property, building-characteristic and peril datasets. It models acute and chronic, current and future hazards and aggregates them to company, sector and postcode levels, outputting 20-plus financial measures such as Average Annual Loss and Probable Maximum Loss used in insurance and lending; a public C3-Models white paper describes the stochastic event sets, vulnerability functions and IPCC-AR6 basis. Distinctive for marrying deep property-data heritage with catastrophe-model-grade loss metrics.

Beta

Public transparency, not model quality iThe Transparency Score (0–3) estimates public methodological transparency: the degree to which the vendor's analytical approach to modeling climate and nature risk can be assessed from publicly available sources. It is explicitly not a measure of vendor quality or accuracy.

Methodology-relevant: vendor websites or external resources explain methodological details.

Methodology-relevant: a public C3-Models white paper describes stochastic event sets, vulnerability functions and an IPCC-AR6 basis, but stays proprietary and short of audit-grade docs.
