KatRisk LLC

SpatialKat, SoloKat, Hazard Data, Orchestra

KatRisk develops probabilistic catastrophe models for inland flood, storm surge, tropical cyclone wind, severe convective storm and wildfire, delivered as hazard maps, location analytics and portfolio software. Inland flood modelling uses physical hydraulic and hydrologic simulation on high-resolution terrain rather than statistical approximation, and covers North America, parts of Latin America, Europe and Australasia. The firm has acted as calculation agent for FEMA and NFIP catastrophe bonds. Distinctive for correlated multi-peril simulation with client-adjustable vulnerability factors.

Beta

Public transparency, not model quality iThe Transparency Score (0–3) estimates public methodological transparency: the degree to which the vendor's analytical approach to modeling climate and nature risk can be assessed from publicly available sources. It is explicitly not a measure of vendor quality or accuracy.

Methodology-relevant: public product and technical pages describe the probabilistic event sets, hazard, vulnerability and financial-model components, loss outputs and API workflow behind SpatialKat, although full model documentation remains proprietary.
