Latitudo40 uses satellite imagery and AI — through its EarthDataInsights analytics and the Earth Data Place data marketplace — to assess urban and asset-level physical risk, with a strong focus on cities and critical infrastructure. It derives indicators such as urban heat-island intensity, surface temperature, flooding, ground subsidence and vegetation or air quality from Earth observation, mainly across Europe, favouring continuous monitoring over one-off assessment. A borderline, Earth-observation-led provider, distinctive for turning satellite-derived urban indicators into screening data rather than producing financial-loss estimates.
