refinq GmbH

Nature Intelligence Hub

refinq's Nature Intelligence Hub is a platform for nature and climate risk that helps companies and investors assess and report environmental impacts and dependencies. It integrates geospatial, Earth-observation, biodiversity and climate datasets with proprietary models and customised large language models to localise nature- and climate-related risk to specific sites and structure it for financial and compliance use, with scenario analysis and TNFD/CSRD outputs; the tool is catalogued in the UNEP FI dashboard. Distinctive for pairing TNFD-aligned biodiversity and ecosystem analysis with generative-AI tooling — a young nature-tech specialist bridging biodiversity data and corporate reporting.

Transparency Score

Beta

Public transparency, not model quality iThe Transparency Score (0–3) estimates public methodological transparency: the degree to which the vendor's analytical approach to modeling climate and nature risk can be assessed from publicly available sources. It is explicitly not a measure of vendor quality or accuracy.

1

Product-level: public materials indicate risk scope and outputs, but little detail on modeling approach.

Product-level: public materials disclose a multi-dimensional method structure — TNFD LEAP workflow, versioned models with methodology cards, documented assumptions and data provenance, named metrics (nutrient runoff, water stress, wildfire, floods) with scenario simulation. Not a full reconstructable model (methodology cards not inspected), so 1 not 2.
