RSS-Hydro is a Luxembourg research and technology company working on flood and wildfire risk through earth observation, hydraulic modelling and machine learning. Its FloodSENS system derives flood extent and impact from satellite data and model simulations, and the team builds high-resolution digital twins of towns to simulate water behaviour during extreme events. Work spans European municipalities and development-funded early-warning projects in Somalia and Bangladesh. Distinctive for pairing operational flood services with an in-house research and education programme.
